Welcome to the 1850 Society, an organization wherein membership provides first-generation graduates from across the U with advice, support, mentorship, and opportunities for connections with first-generation faculty, peers, alumni, and friends of the U.

Upon graduation, First-Gen students at the University of Utah, will be able to join the 1850 Society,

with a charitable donation of $18.50. With their donation, students will receive a pin at graduation, receive invites for events on campus and join a network of fellow graduates and alumni.
